Looking for your fastest route to fun in Mammoth? The airport is located just 10 minutes from downtown Mammoth and is serviced by United Airlines and Alaska Air with service to San Francisco, San Jose, Los Angeles, and Portland. It is conveniently accessed by shuttle or taxi.

• Airport Services: This small airport offers parking, but not much more. You'll find a couple vending machines for snacks.
• Getting To/From the Airport:
  Mammoth Lakes hotels and accommodations often provide transportation to/from the airport. An airport shuttle is available, though there is a cost if you are not staying on Mammoth Mountain. Taxis are also available and cost approximately $15 per person, one way.

Reno / Tahoe International Airport

• Location: This airport is the closest international airport to the Mammoth area of eastern California. From Reno, it is approximately 160 miles south on Highway 395 to Mammoth Lakes. Many visitors, whose ultimate destination is the Mammoth area, first fly into the Reno Tahoe International Airport.

• Getting To/From the Airport:
  Rental Car: The most common way to get from the Reno/Tahoe International Airport to Mammoth Lakes is by rental car. The scenic drive is long but beautiful and you will love having your own wheels once you are in the Mammoth area. Car rentals are probably cheapest at the Reno Airport as well.
