Bridgeport, CA is a small rural community located in Mono County, California.  The town is located in the heart of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range, and serves as a great base camp for all your outdoor adventures.

Location

Bridgeport is located 54 miles north of Mammoth Lakes, at the Junction of US-395 and State Route 182.

Bridgeport is a small town, but due to its proximity to the Sierras, it has ample lodging, including several motels, B & B’s, and outdoor recreation based resorts. Bridgeport also has quick access to several camping and RV facilities. Restaurants include both casual family eateries and more upscale fare.

Activities

Bridgeport is close to a variety of outdoor activities, including popular Twin Lakes. Virginia Lakes and Green Lake are also nearby. Popular activities include fishing, hiking, camping, mountain biking, cross country skiing, and mountaineering. Mono Lake is also a short drive away.

Attractions

Bridgeport is located close to many popular attractions, including Bodie Ghost Town, one of the most highly preserved ghost towns in the United States.

Getting Here

To reach Bridgeport from Mammoth Lakes, take US 395 north for approximately 54 miles. Along the way, make sure to take time to explore the Casa Diablo Hot Springs, as well as Mono Lake.
